Title: Hi Sim-Racers
Post by: guest115 on December 06, 2017, 11:50:26 pm
Hi everyone,

I'm Digvijay (Dig for short), I'm originally from Nepal and currently residing in New York for college.

Discovered sim-racing a year ago and I've been doing casual public lobby stuff on Assetto Corsa and a little bit of iRacing -- this was until I discovered RFactor2.

I'm still trying to develop my pace and race craft, but I'm usually a clean racer.

Absolutely love this sim and looking forward to racing with all you veterans.

I look forward to seeing you on the track..

Digvijay

Welcome to the league Dig.  it's always good to see guys discovering rfactor 2 and all of the great benefits of using it.  we will be starting our GT3 Series in January. It looks like it's going to be a great series and I'm hoping for full grids each and every Sunday. Thanks for coming by and feel free to join the discussions.

Hi Digvijay and welcome,

Rfactor 2 is still the best when it comes to pure feel of it. It also shines in a league enviroment. Glad you found us :)

Racing clean and will to improve are more important to us than being fast. Speed will come in time and racing regularly will help in both racing clean and gaining speed.

We have helpful members here who are willing to give advice when asked. There are lots of useful stuff in the forum also so feel free to look around.

Looks like New York's time zone is UTC/GMT -5 meaning our events should start early afternoon for you. Next series will start in January as Chad stated. We will use gt3 mod which is the first dlc from rf2 devs. Make sure to get the whole package to enter our servers. Unfortunately rf2 doesn't allow you to enter if you only have one car from the pack. This package is fortunately high quality and definitely worth to get.

See you on track!

Hi Dig, welcome.
Simon, I had to laugh at that skin. "Powered by Honda"!

Thanks to all you guys for the warm welcome. GT3 season sounds great, the cars feel fantastic; gonna have a hard time choosing one.

Unfortunately, I don't have PC2 but that's fine, I guess I could sharpen my skills a little for the upcoming league and maybe even start painting a skin.
