I picked this because it has been suggested to me in the past. Looks like I won't be picking it again in the future as a lot of drivers are passing on it.

Great to hear. This track may make it into the next series as well.

If by "We" you mean Humanity then yes we originated on earth. We descended from a common monkey ancestor from the great apes. Hate to break it to all the conservative Christians, but we evolved from monkeys. We as humans are nothing more than highly evolved apes.

If you mean "we" as in life on earth, then I think there is a strong argument that we may have been delivered here on an asteroid from another planet where life evolved before being blasted off its home planet by a comet impact or other equally destructive event.

I've been driving FWD cars (chevy Impala squads) for a few years at speed and don't recall them pulling toward the inside of the curve at any point other than during torque steer.

Just because there is a documentary on something doesn't make it true. There are people who don't believe the moon landings happened. There are people who believe the world is flat. There are people (quite alot actually) that believe a virgin gave birth to a man who was the son of god. People are free to think what they want. I am free to not believe it. Ain't the world great?

I've had Prime for almost 2 years and find it worth the cost in shipping alone (I have an Amazon warehouse in my city so sometimes I get my stuff in one day) The TV programming is icing on the cake.

Unfortunately I wont be able to make this race. I will be involved in a race of a different sort. I'll be directing traffic for a local Triathalon. But the upside is I still will be telling people where to go so that is nice. I will get the server setup the night prior to the race and hopefully one of the moderators can be in attendance to reset the race weekend at the appropriate time. Sorry to miss it and hope everyone has a great time.

That looks slick. And it is in my favorite color, green.

I played it be to build a project Cars 1. I thought it sucked major dick and never went back to Play It Again. To me it was nothing more than a really good looking console game. It did not qualify as a Sim per se. Maybe they learned their lesson from all of the negative reviews regarding their physics and the game being a simcade. But realistically I don't see them going after the niche market of **** simmers. There's not a lot of money in it compared to the console casual racing person.

So far all the content they have been working on seems to be completing what isi started, with exception of the radical perhaps.

It's also possible that they are running into the same problems that isi were having (tires too complex)

I was hoping for a better UI update. Feels like it is taking ALOT longer than it was intended to.

THe force feedback feels Wonky on this mod. It almost feels like it is backwards, the way it used to in rF1 when you had to reverse the FFB slider.

Hi Rick. Thanks for joining up. I am sure you will find several people here with a similar talent level and ability as you. We have super fast aliens, competent mid-packers, several "Capt. Slow" types and even a few rolling chicanes. But all of our members are fair and up for a good battle if it is to be had.

I am sure you will find your spot here and enjoy your time.

As far as mods we will be using EGT for the next points series again. It is a good mod that everyone is familiar with. For the off-season and mini-season prior to the next points race we have not yet finalized the mods or tracks to be used.

Again welcome and I look forward to seeing you on track.

rFactor 2 / Laguna Seca test server
« on: June 14, 2017, 04:45:50 pm »
I have put up a test server for Laguna Seca. One of the reasons I have not used Laguna Seca in our recent series is due to some bumps in the track which had been throwing cars into the air. This was discovered while using the P1 mod. I think though that the EGT cars sit off the ground enough for this to not be a problem. I recall having this problem with Donington as well and we didnt have any issues with the EGT cars.

So in an effort to have Laguna Seca included in our next series I would like for you all to test this version of the track with the EGT cars and report any problems. I will continue to put up test tracks in preparation for next the next points series.

June 12, 2017, 09:23:14 pm Stevo says: good idea Ignacio, look forward to this. I think everyone would. just imagine 200 streamers watching the biggest wreckin rookie in action and you whaling on about me. yeah my face is going beetroot as i speak

June 12, 2017, 08:12:48 pm Chad Brown says: I think that would be a grand idea Ignacio. You have the pleasure of watching the race and we get the pleasure of pretending we are actually professional drivers. LOL. I think it would be cool to have someone announcing the race live in a stream. If you are keen to do so I would not say no.

June 12, 2017, 03:04:17 pm i_hortal says: dont think so, unless a miracle happens this week. ive had awful luck this past months. :/

June 12, 2017, 12:45:18 pm Tig_green says: I like the idea Ignacio. I have had a secret wish that this would happen someday. Not sure where you find people who are willing to do this instead of racing... You won't be racing in Sebring?

June 12, 2017, 12:17:02 pm i_hortal says: how would you feel if i do stream your races and do commentary while i wait for my own driving :D ? maybe i can get someone else in the booth as im leaned more on the technical side and i alwady do regular streams on twitch.
