Thanks Michael,  just im a liability man so far ive almost taken Chad out at Magny Cours, got tangled with Tech G at Rouens, destroyed Matt Palla at CTMP, destroyed Chad at Road America, wrecked Zombie also, lord knows who else ive ruined along the way, all this in just 7 races??? Im not going to give up, i just need to get more practice. every race ive practiced more than anyone, go into every race (except malaysia) with high hopes n good intentions and just end up feeling like **** after the race.

Due to the series of unfortunate events i seem to have in 70% of the races we have, I'm going to drop from the Series.
Seems im pretty fast when im alone on track but as soon as i have cars around me i struggle, after todays road america its just the final straw for me.
basically i just need more practice!

sorry for the incidents ive caused, I've ruined a few peoples series, i find it so embarrassing  :-[

Thanks for letting me race with you for the past 7 races ive really enjoyed it.

maybe i'l sign up for one next year when i can maybe learn to drive.

I'l still be around and about on server for practicing and what not, because your a top bunch of lads here and its been a pleasure getting to know you all.

peace out  :(

Stevo

hat off to these guys for sheer bravery, one tiny mistake at those speeds and your either dead or eating hospital food for months.
just too scary for me to even watch nevermind try

Interesting post...

I use the bonnet cam, virtual mirrors and have D Pad mapped to look left right and behind.. can also look sort of diagonally behind aswell with D Pad, ive also mapped 2 buttons to look left and right on steering wheel which i can use just about anywhere on the track but the D Pad is for on the long straights because it takes my hand away from the flappy paddel gear change, G27 has D Pad on the shifter.. still getting used to this setup since ive had a couple of incidents with Palla and Tech G

i almost went and bought 2 more monitors last weekend.
the more i get into it the more i will spend on STUFF.
I love the races we have on sundays but the only thing thats holding me back from ploughing some more money into it is that i feel quite lonely through the week, kinda boring doing 6000 laps on my own

I'm game for whatever the majority decides, just dont want to purchase mods unless we are gonna run a season or 2 with it.

rFactor 2 / Pit Stops
« on: May 23, 2017, 04:17:04 pm »
As you all know all my 4 races of this and my first season have been ruined by my lack of knowledge on what is what when it comes to making a bad or a successfull stop. and why they were bad or good, also how the seconds get calculated etc. Ive sorta been my own engineer on the fly and find it sooo damn distracting..  I figured at Rouens i would be quicker overall if a ran 2 half loads of fuel, 14 seconds for refuel and i was 20 seconds slower on full load for half a race... but all that got complicated on the go lap 11 i think.. i should of just pitted with chad but i wanted to try to do 2 more laps cause my car felt good then i was thinkin ohh no gotta tell pit crew i dont need 3 panels fixing and ive done more laps than i thought i was gonna do so i could reduce my fuel load and maybe pit timer and then while i was doing algebra in my head the sticky out bit on the left side of the home straight jumped out without doing the          Stop Look Listen       and stopped me instantly for some reason = 960 second pit stop.. and i was worrying about a spare 5 litre of fuel overfuel,, but i still finished the algebratic equation in my head tho while i waited for about 200 seconds hoping that if i drive out now i hope my pitcrew fixed the right thing cause when i drove in i was full left lock and good job pit was on the right cause thats where i was going still, hit my box at a perfect 45 degree angle too.

So if anyone has any kind of information on it, or maybe they have a plugin that helps, or do people use touch screens or keyboards etc.

Now i know pit stops are a part of being quick in a race as i said above, but all my races? Im a Noob I know but im a fast one  :P

Trying to find things out by googling it is like trying to buy a Unicorn **** ice cream cone when Chads not about

Im going to make another topic  Plugins.  So if you got one for this, please post it there

Thanks in advance

Stevo

June 12, 2017, 08:12:48 pm Chad Brown says: I think that would be a grand idea Ignacio. You have the pleasure of watching the race and we get the pleasure of pretending we are actually professional drivers. LOL. I think it would be cool to have someone announcing the race live in a stream. If you are keen to do so I would not say no.

June 12, 2017, 03:04:17 pm i_hortal says: dont think so, unless a miracle happens this week. ive had awful luck this past months. :/

June 12, 2017, 12:45:18 pm Tig_green says: I like the idea Ignacio. I have had a secret wish that this would happen someday. Not sure where you find people who are willing to do this instead of racing... You won't be racing in Sebring?

June 12, 2017, 12:17:02 pm i_hortal says: how would you feel if i do stream your races and do commentary while i wait for my own driving :D ? maybe i can get someone else in the booth as im leaned more on the technical side and i alwady do regular streams on twitch.
