A mid-week run would also be a way to entice new members to the group.

*News Flash*

In an announcement that surprised next to no one, League Admin Chad Brown announced that he has signed with team Ferrari. This will not come as a surprise to anyone considering he had been practicing laps with team Ferrari and all but ignored phone calls and pre-set practice runs with team Mercedes.

When asked about the sudden change away from team Mercedes Chad had this to say, "Mercedes has treated me very well, however, Team Ferrari has promised me 74 Virgins. While I was surprised that they had any familiarity with Muslim scripture, the promise of any female companionship has me interested enough to join them for one season.

This whole "martyrdom" thing has me a bit concerned but I figured if I don't do anything too stupid I might survive this completely asinine deal. Plus I get to drive a Ferrari.

Mercedes was contacted and they had this to say,"If Chad wants to drive an Italian piece of Scheisse he is welcome to do so. However, we feel as if he is trading German Engineering for perceived beauty"

Team Ferrari had this to say in rebuttal, "Eat pasta you silly Krauts."

For Chad's part he only added that he requires a new kick-ass skin. He would prefer the signature Green Flames that have become his mid pack winning hallmark. But would be willing to compromise for another similarly green colored theme. He advised that he is currently taking designs for considerations.

Only time will tell if his move from Mercedes to Ferrari will result in a result better than his finish in last seasons GT Cup.

To the rest of the field he had only this to add, "Lick my Love Pump."

Yes, the poster should list the schedule of the season. However, we will need to firm up the track list before he can add it to the poster. So long as there is a place for the list as a place holder it should be fine.

I think the fact that the poster looks like a video game box from the 90's is great. add to that the line, "This is not a game". Humerus.

ALso. I would like to use the same logo for all our adverts. It shows consistency. The website can be listed as www.virtualracingchampionship.com

I dont know anyone over at R2P so I wold not be the person to make contact there. If someone else does it may be a good question to ask. Also presumably you are not interested in running the P2 content with us? Even if you are not thrilled with the car you can get to know the characters we have in the league if you run with us on Sunday.

I like your enthusiasm Dan. I am more than happy to add you to the list of drivers for the upcoming GT Cup. However, that series' registration period has not yet opened. We are still picking tracks for that series. (A test server with several possible tracks has been put up for consideration) The registration that is currently open is for the P2 Mini-Series. You are more than welcome to join us for that series as well. we are coming up to the 2nd of 4 races in the series. Just let me know if you want to take part in the mini-series and I, or another admin/moderator, will add you to the registered drivers list.

Completely jealous...

Maybe when I retire from the force they will take a guy in his mid 50s to push a broom around.

Welcome Dan. Glad to see some people filtering in from Race 2 Play. I hope to see more coming over.

I'm 59 years young and I work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.

OMFG! JPL?!?! Outside of the fact that I are not smart enough to work there, it is a dream of mine to work anywhere near something NASA is a part of. Holy F'ing cool batman.

In any case, enough of my fanboy slobbering. I look forward to seeing you on track.

Lol.  I've been looking forward to seeing this program since I heard about its announcement this year. I used to love watching them on Top Gear. And then they had Top Gear America which wasn't nearly as good. And then they had the replacement Group after Jeremy Clarkson had been fired. That sucked dick.
