rFactor 2 / Pit Stops
« on: May 23, 2017, 04:17:04 pm »
As you all know all my 4 races of this and my first season have been ruined by my lack of knowledge on what is what when it comes to making a bad or a successfull stop. and why they were bad or good, also how the seconds get calculated etc. Ive sorta been my own engineer on the fly and find it sooo damn distracting..  I figured at Rouens i would be quicker overall if a ran 2 half loads of fuel, 14 seconds for refuel and i was 20 seconds slower on full load for half a race... but all that got complicated on the go lap 11 i think.. i should of just pitted with chad but i wanted to try to do 2 more laps cause my car felt good then i was thinkin ohh no gotta tell pit crew i dont need 3 panels fixing and ive done more laps than i thought i was gonna do so i could reduce my fuel load and maybe pit timer and then while i was doing algebra in my head the sticky out bit on the left side of the home straight jumped out without doing the          Stop Look Listen       and stopped me instantly for some reason = 960 second pit stop.. and i was worrying about a spare 5 litre of fuel overfuel,, but i still finished the algebratic equation in my head tho while i waited for about 200 seconds hoping that if i drive out now i hope my pitcrew fixed the right thing cause when i drove in i was full left lock and good job pit was on the right cause thats where i was going still, hit my box at a perfect 45 degree angle too.

So if anyone has any kind of information on it, or maybe they have a plugin that helps, or do people use touch screens or keyboards etc.

Now i know pit stops are a part of being quick in a race as i said above, but all my races? Im a Noob I know but im a fast one  :P

Trying to find things out by googling it is like trying to buy a Unicorn **** ice cream cone when Chads not about

Im going to make another topic  Plugins.  So if you got one for this, please post it there

Thanks in advance

I hope you guys understand... these aren't empty threats from Karl. He has a hit list. Stevo currently occupies the top 7 spots, and Matt has the next 67 spots but trust me when I say.... You're time is coming. I'm 1234, so I'm good until next season.

he loves me really,, 1234 your probably clear till lap 6 maybe 7 on rouens sunday.. .kral ticks his list off really fast .... see how i mentioned kral and fast in same sentence, just didnt feel rite that..

post created in honour of Princess Kral, who cant help himself/herself/itself and subconciously hijacks most threads to give little rabbit punches aimed at me and anything i say....

so in the Blue corner we got Stevo who doesent hit walls face on

and in the Pink corner we got Princess Kral who loves being at the back and likes driving into walls to pass time most the time get bored with being on the tarmac and uses the grass cause he/she/it thinks its faster and loses his/her/its front end all the time.. then flashes lights at you cause somehow its not his/her/its fault its yours even tho you were about 10 seconds in front

is Devo your brother?
