Simon, bless his heart, gifted me Project Cars 2 on steam. I have spent all day today playing, and tweaking things to my liking. If you are on the fence about buying Pcars 2, I highly suggest it. They did a really good job with it. FFB is good after adding the Jack Spade custom ffb files. Graphics blew my mind, and continue to do so.
I'm really liking Pcars 2! Thank you again Simon!!!

When was the last time you raced RF2? Have you even tried it in DX11 yet? News flash!!! Just because a track is laser scanned don't mean squat... Iracing's tracks are all laser scanned, but their physics are so dicked up that it doesn't matter. RF2 has a boat load of decent tracks, and their fair share of crappy tracks. But laser scanned? Laser scanned don't mean jack...
Was this to me? If so, you might be out of your depth on the response in terms of knowledge and especially comprehension of what I wrote. FYI iRacing has a couple of tracks with wrong elevations despite it being laser scan.

Braking earlier is faster in most cases. It allows the weight to transfer slower and doesn't upset the car as much, which means you don't have to wait as long to get back on throttle.

I'll reserve judgement til the full GTE mod is out. But as of this moment I like the way the McLaren drives, although I do not like McLaren. It acts like a race car should, and feels connected to the track.
I like the URD mod as well. Having a lot of fun racing it.
Haven't driven the APEX mod in a long time. I didn't like it when I did drive it. Will have to revisit it since updates.

I was part of a team in my run with the Happy Hour Race League (Stock car oval racing). It was fun to have a few guys you were racing with, but it really did not have any actual effect to the racing other than to build some camaraderie.

I'm in the same boat Matt. I need new motherboard, processor, video card, and RAM. Crap... I need a whole new pc...
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.20ghz
8 GB RAM
960 GTX
I get good frame rate in DX9, but it stutters unless I run vsync. DX11 same thing, good frame rate, but it stutters worse, plus it stutters in vsync as well.
