Indeed it is, but I get the feeling it will get the Camaro GT3 treatment.

I imagine you are right. S397 appear to be more interested in creating their own vehicles rather than updating ISI's work. Im not against that necessarily since ISI was not exactly great at graphical fidelity and quality. I imagine that S397 does not want to dump time and effort into polishing the ISI turds.

At first I was angry about it, but I agree with you. The GTR and 370z models are quite poorly done so I get why S397 haven't put time into them.

Irritates the **** out of me that there's no Mustang in any of this stuff!
Perhaps if they do GT4 it will be added? Gt4 is popular now.

I'm curious about feedback on this mod. I was actually shocked at how good the ffb is. I can actually feel brake lockups and I actually rate the ffb above the GTE and GT3 cars. It's not a perfect mod but certainly driveable.

Ford is awesome and sounds good too.
The steering ratio is set to 15 as a default for most cars...I recommend cranking it to at least 17.5

All the cars handle pretty well with the exception that the GTR tries to kill you. Happens to also be my favorite...lol

The Lambo drives well but sounds pretty sissy. I didnt like the Aston sound but I Googled it and it isnt all that far off (minus a bit of "throaty" engine sound)

OMFG. I said this to the admins already but this mod is like if the GTE and LMP2 had a baby. On this track (VIR) it is an adrenaline rush for sure. FFB is good and the tires in this mod were just updated.

It gets my thumbs up. I was told the mod was based off the physics from the ISI GTR and C6R, but I'm not sure. They sure have the same driving quality IMO.

VRC Series' sign ups / Re: VRC 2018 Fall Mixed-Class Series
« on: August 28, 2018, 03:08:13 pm »
In light of the number of Porsches being driven, Myself and Pete Delavan would like to switch to the BMW. I really would like to drive the Corvette, but it drives like a turd compared to the other cars...

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I hated the BMW the first couple times I drove it, but the more I drove it, the more I liked it. Of the 3 cars, I'd say it is the one that I found myself pushing the hardest. With the Vette for example, it has a definite point where it tells you to go to hell. With the BMW, it keeps daring you to push harder.

Haha, Now I just have to hope he doesn't show up and embarass me, or I will certainly be saying more colourful words than that.

rFactor 2 General / Re: Sebring released for purchase
« on: July 31, 2018, 04:20:24 am »
Well on the plus side,my refund request was rejected so I am keeping Sebring after all...LOL. It is a fantastic track, I just REALLY wish S397 hadn't recreated what was already a top 3 track in Rf2. I really want them to release a track pack, as I think that is what will draw new interest. I have heard a few real-life racers indicate that the main reason they use iRacing is because of the accuracy of the tracks, and having driven both iRacing and RF2 (for me anyway) there is no debate. Both are excellent but RF2 at it's best (GTE content) is just ridiculously good.

In terms of new users to RF2 though, I hate the segregation of content because what will likely happen is the new user buys the base game to try it.. IF they can figure out how to get it up and running without getting fed up, they still have outdated content and abandoned mods to deal with. I would still like to see all of the base content updated to the GTE standards and fully DX11 content. Many mods have been abandoned so it seems unlikely they will be updated. Hopefully this new "league support" in the new ui will make it easy to advertise leagues and have members join. As an alternative, S397 could host a championship like iRacing does.

Welcome.  We have been racing at this timeslot for a while and not expected to change anytime soon so come out as often as you can.  We have a few fellows from your neck of the woods so you'll fit right in.

We all try to drop as many laps on the server as we can during the week so hopefully we see you. Even if you only want to come out for the practice on Sunday's and not race we'd  be happy to have you.

Tom
