Hi Steve and welcome,

I'm sure you will learn a lot here if you pay attention :)

First moments can be tricky when you are still finding out how each driver moves on track, I mean racing lines, braking points etc.

I hope you have fun with us. There should be someone to race with here no matter what is your position on track.

See you on track!

-Matt
In order to win you need to be willing to roll the dice.

OK Steve, I am here to do your VRC orientation. Here is what you need to know:

1. Ignacio and I are the fastest... by a HUGE margin. We don’t like to use the term “Alien” but we hear it so much that we have accepted it. We are also the funniest, best looking and more smarterer guys as well. We also like to swear a lot so don’t EVER *$% *&&# *^$% *!!!  Get it?!!!!

2. There are a couple of super slow guys here, but for privacy reasons and to not hurt their feelings, we’ll call them “Koolian Rayban”, “Mitch Faster” “Skip Harrington”. We try to let these slowpokes win to make them feel better.

3. Nicknames vs Real names:
Marketcrash16 = Me, aka Tom
Depco = Chad
Tig Green = Matt
Mikeecz = Michael Foster
CJR33 = Julian
Acelain= Jean Simon
Ibby = Paul

Most of the other names are pretty straight forward.

4. At the end of races our tradition is pretty simple, some guys donut… the rest of us smash so watch your back!!

5. If you need a setup, guys are always willing to share. You have the C7 so Chad and Matt are your sources.  Don’t think anyone else is running the C7.

Seriously, welcome. FYI I was super nervous my first race, so don’t even worry about it. I still get a bit nervous actually. My goal in my first race (as it is for many I found out) was not to wreck anyone. Once you get the first race out of the way, you’ll feel better.

Tom

Oh yeah... and if a guy named Wyatt shows up, everyone else has zero chance of winning. The guy is on another level. I like to watch him drive after I crash out in lap 1.

Glad you joined up. In all honesty, Ignacio actually is ridiculously fast, and I'm just a mid pack guy... the rest is all TRUE!!!! You passed the sense of humour test, so you're already cool in my books.You'll have a blast in this league. A good group of guys here. We are competitive, but are always willing to share tips and setups and such.

So who's gonna take me under their wing and teach me the ropes?? someone this weekend for few hours on server and teamspeak would be ace

I'm a F1 fanatic at heart, so need teaching about EGT series altogether really, done a few laps on server so far in most of the cars and im about 15 seconds off the pace.. so im gonna hit the server right now for a hour

June 12, 2017, 09:23:14 pm Stevo says: good idea Ignacio, look forward to this. I think everyone would. just imagine 200 streamers watching the biggest wreckin rookie in action and you whaling on about me. yeah my face is going beetroot as i speak

June 12, 2017, 08:12:48 pm Chad Brown says: I think that would be a grand idea Ignacio. You have the pleasure of watching the race and we get the pleasure of pretending we are actually professional drivers. LOL. I think it would be cool to have someone announcing the race live in a stream. If you are keen to do so I would not say no.

June 12, 2017, 03:04:17 pm i_hortal says: dont think so, unless a miracle happens this week. ive had awful luck this past months. :/

June 12, 2017, 12:45:18 pm Tig_green says: I like the idea Ignacio. I have had a secret wish that this would happen someday. Not sure where you find people who are willing to do this instead of racing... You won't be racing in Sebring?

June 12, 2017, 12:17:02 pm i_hortal says: how would you feel if i do stream your races and do commentary while i wait for my own driving :D ? maybe i can get someone else in the booth as im leaned more on the technical side and i alwady do regular streams on twitch.
