Thanks Simon. I'll try to get the track list updated with the new track and do some laps later tonight.

this version is way too bumpy, almost as severe as hitting pot holes.Tried it in the GP3 car, plus I was getting in the 40"s frame rate wise, and it didn"t really look any better than the version we ran in the LMP"s.Needs some work.

Bit of info on the track i found

Mount Panorama was released as a free add-on track for rFactor 2 through the game’s official website, though the third party content label indicated the track had been created someone other than ISI. It’s not uncommon for other devs to inject tracks into rFactor 2; Reiza Studios allowed ISI to put their modern version of Interlagos designed for Game Stock Car Extreme into rFactor 2, but most remained tight lipped about where this track had come from.

I thought we have been using only the "official" version and that was pretty good imo, both the road surface and visuals.

In order to win you need to be willing to roll the dice.

The version I have on the track list is the 3PA version. It is the official ISI sponsored version.

It's made by mianiak, who's been tasked with other tracks too. Some 3PA releases are by testers, like the Nascar stuff, and they're off. But some guys like Jarkko (jka) know how to make a good, clean track. And James Mabe made the faux-Miami. It's not like the guy (James or mianiak) is inferior to tuttle or sln, at all. Maybe even the opposite. There were complaints about track accuracy as the Team ORSM (or OSRM?) layout is closer to reality, but the terrain had been obtained from another source which was exactly like NFS S2. Or like Suzuka being the same source as SCE/AMS's.

If you get performance issues with this Bathurst 2016 release, it's the editor's fault. He must have done something with textures or added other things that hurt performance.

I have to agree with it being bumpy. I'm sure it is in real life, but not like that I would think... it's a bit ridiculous. the location and severity of the bumps would make this too dangerous of a track in real life. It's almost like the bumps were intentionally put in the worst possible location.

It"s not as bad in the GT cars as it was in the GP3,as those cars are sprung alot stiffer. This track is borderline Impossible at night haha, would hate to try a night race at a track like this, takes alot of concentration just to keep it off the walls in the day time.
