Can't wait to try it. The upgrade to the flat 6 was impressive.

I'm very bothered that with as long as the Ford GT has been around it's not been in any rF2 mod that I'm aware of.  (Nothing against any of the mods, I enjoy them all, just mad that it's not in any rF2 mod.  This coming from the world's biggest Ford fan.

As always seems to be the case these updates come at a time I can't do any racing. Maybe when I get home from work.

Finally got to try the new update. It is very nice. Smoother Frames with alot less jutter in VR. However, I did notice the dreaded stutter when someone joined the server... Im not sure if if was a one off thing or a re-introduction of the old issue.

I haven't tried the Enduracers mod yet. But...
Since we will be using it in the new Wednesday series, are there any "standard" setup tricks I should know about?
I get the feeling that there were some "unwritten" settings in the S397 GT3 mod. Like set tire pressures to minimum, set ride height to minimum, and reduce roll bars to one above detached. Are there things like that to help with base setup for Enduracers?

I've done all three of those to the LMP cars and seen a pretty good Improvement. LeMans I set the downforce as low as possible. Currently 1 front and 4 in back.

Its interesting trying the different cars with the perspective of driving it for a whole season.
My criteria are good visibility and an engine sound that won't drive me crazy. (I'm looking at YOU mister beemer!)
Spent a lot of time adjusting seat and mirror positions (which are quite important racing in VR).
It's another aspect of "sim racing" rather than "arcade racing". I'm enjoying this "work" to get a car I'm comfortable with.

Comparing all the cars, the Porsche definitely seems to have the trickiest back end.
The BMW sounds like a 600 sport bike to me. I think I'd end up driving on mute.
The Ferrari seems very controllable but it also felt underpowered. Maybe just my driving style (or lack of).
As much as I hate Corvettes, I did give it a shot. It's got lots of grunt and good rearview. But the backend slides more than I like.
So in the end, I think the Aston Martin is my Goldilocks car.

I'm interested to hear what others think.

I find I have to crank min force to about 8 to get better feedback but there are a few GTE cars that I prefer.

Ferrari 458 feels very alive for me and is my favorite. I like the Porsche but it really bogs off the start (like the Callaway in S397) I like the Aston and the sound is decent as well. Never been a fan of BMW and that car is awful to drive. The C7 was good. Haven't  tried the others but Ferrari is where I am leaning now.
