Big improvements for me in terms of FPS....35% gain... :) :) :) :).   Very happy with this.

Have not tried game play, but plp are reporting that it is smoother.

I'm still puzzled about video settings in my VR setup but the new build certainly hasn't hurt anything. It's great that overlays are now displayed in VR. So now I can actually use "ctrl-f" and see the framerate.
And speaking of that, it appears that the new optimized code tries to lock in at certain framerates. I get 90 fps on some tracks, and 45 fps on others. I remember the S397 blurb stating that consistent frame rate was important, so I suspect the code is doing this. I'm not sure I like the idea of the fps being limited to less than the max possible, but I'll respect that S397 know what they're doing and that it will give me a better experience.
One thing I noticed (in VR at least)... the windshield wiper doesn't remove the rain from the windshield!
It's great to see S397 putting so much love into this sim. Even if they are slower than we want, the communication goes a long way to keeping the community faithful.

I hope you guys are as happy as I am with this build. rF2 runs very smooth, much higher PS (about 35% gain). It looks really nice overall.  The best rF2 ever.

In VR I am having much smoother frames with shadows on high. It looks better with the gtaphical.details turned up. Super stoked.

Yeah...me too, I have everything on Full and PP in low.  This build is a game changer.

I don't know how much gain in FPS I have, but it's definitely smoother and the HUD is nice as well (not perfect though).

Same here,
I was surprised how much I could turn graphics setting up and still have good results.
Cured one of the main things I didn't like about VR

I can finally run DX11. Which is a good thing because there is no DX9 included in the latest build.
