I sent in several reports to S397. They have since closed the thread... the game does not run better for me.

Guess they got thousands of responses from the 42 people that play rF2.

S397 has been hard at work. THey have largely fixed/updated the issues keeping Frame rates down through a series of Hotfixes and patches. While my frames are still not what they were under DX9. They are hovering between 50-60 FPS. That is very drive-able and the stutter they introduced in one of the hotfixes has been eliminated.

BTW Michael. I am sure there are at least 49 people who play rF2...  ;)

Yeah but those other 7 play on and off again. Not consistant. Should we count them?

Interesting to read everyone's thoughts and experiences with the beta. Chad, glad to hear they fixed the issue with AMD cards. Seems like you AMD guys always get shafted one way or another!!

Using Ultra PPE, I was getting 70-90FPS in-game but on TV cam it would drop to 30-40FPS. I since found that turning down anisotropic filtering from x16 to x8 and lowering some other in-game graphical settings made a big difference in performance.

Some of the effects look awesome on tracks that have 'proper' lighting installed. Misano looks especially atmospheric at night. I made a vid if anyone wants to check it out.

Tom, Chad, Excuse me but I've just got in and I'm slightly drunk. So maybe I'm misunderstanding your humour? I wonder if you thin  I make money from my YT vids? JUst to let you know I don't monetised my vids. I spend hours of my free-time making them because I enjoy it and hope others enjoy watching. Same reason as you make yours, Tom. I also spend hours of my free time practicing and racing with you guys - because I enjoy it.

I had the courtesy to ask everyone via the forum if it was ok to record our races. Other members have streamed and posted videos and didn't bother asking. Chad asked me not to upload anything that would put VRC in a bad light - I don't believe I have. Someone asked me not to post them on the forum. So I don't. I've been respectful to everyone.

I was 100% making fun of Chad. I love your videos and they are of a much higher quality than my fart joke videos so please keep making them. You have a good following so that is great for the league. I know it is a lot of work, so please don't think I am insulting you. (Although if you appear in one of my vids I can't promise I won't have a go at you once or twice...haha).

I apologize if you thought I was going after you. Chad was my target, and I felt I hit the bullseye cleanly. :-)

Actually Banger... you should consider yourself lucky... in the original Matsusaka replay your car shows up as a Viper.   but when I updated to dx11 it suddenly turned into a crappy yellow Clio pacecar... I could have ripped you bad, but I spared you in this summary vid... haha. Just kidding... but your car did somehow turn into a Clio. Weird.

Fear Not Banger. No one was put off by your videos. In fact, I really enjoyed the DX11 video you put up. Clearly a **** ton of work went into making that video. Bravo my good man. In fact I have subscribed to your channel. You have more than one channel though right?

Now Tom on the other hand... I'll deal with him at a later date... maybe sometime on a sunday... on a track of my choosing... in a race I decide to force him into an early Exit... MWHAHAHAHAHA. The tension and suspense is palpable.

Think having PP off will be best smoothest option for races I go from 74/84 to 115/125 get odd momentary stutter sometimes on med PP.
off is butter smooth so for Races will turn off till build moved to stable beta
