URD content
« on: May 29, 2017, 02:01:32 am »
Members,

I was able to complete the URD mod content purchase through the generous donations our membership has provided. I have purchased the PX and JT5 Shiro. This completes my purchases of all the fantastic URD mods. I had already owned the EGT and T5 mods prior to starting the league.

What does this mean to you as a VRC member?

If it is determined that there is a desire for a URD series (Such as the current EGT series) I can now host those servers. Prior to these purchases I was only able to host the EGT and T5 mods because those were the only mods I had purchased. Obviously all members who wish to partake in the  URD series will have to obtain the necessary mod files. I can not provide them as I am only allowed one copy of the mod (Server and personal). I can not re-distribute it to our membership without some sort of commercial license.

If there is a specific desire for a series and a good number of members do not have a license I may be able to negotiate a bulk purchase price. But that would come later once we determine there is a need or desire for such an agreement.

In any case if there is a desire for a URD based server to be put up let me know and I can make it happen now.

I'm game for whatever the majority decides, just dont want to purchase mods unless we are gonna run a season or 2 with it.

Cool i have them all too :)
To be honest there all very good JT5 is a blast (Working on a skin) PX mod is allot of fun too and URD being prob the only mod u need to buy at the moment
Seeing as we are still getting updates from purchases 3yrs ago it is good value for money. I gladly supported them and pretty much brought all mods as they were released. i have  the AC ones too though not played it for a while

The T5 season we had was allot of fun  everyone had great races Julian and few others must have PX too as they have done seasons with CSM

@ Stevo yup can always buy when u need them takes minutes and instant down load.
If we get on to multi class you may need the PX Mod even if not racing that class sure you will like it when you jump in the PX1 :)
For the price there worth it and allot of fun URD Rock in my world ;D

T5 and EGT are good quality, at least after the latest updates. I think T5 was pretty good already before the latest update but EGT I didn't like before.

I'm sure PX and J5 would be good too. Probably will get PX and maybe J5 if it comes cheap :P

You mean wrong for you or that it doesn't feel like you think the real car would feel? (Bad physics/ffb)

I suppose it should feel like open wheel car, much like lmp car but lighter and maybe not so powerful...

So you think the tires should be loosing grip and spinning more often that is happening with the mod? Like when exiting the corners and such?

OOOOOHHHHHH I see. I thought you were talking about the mod itself. I didn't realize you were talking about the actual real life Racing series.
