what a coincidence!

not.

no reason we couldn't run a series with both URD and S397 cars.

Thank you, Simon....thank you, thank you, thank you!  Even if I finish last in every event (which is possible no matter what I drive) I'll be in one.

I have not tested it, but it seems that it is faster than the S397 GTEs.  Have you guys done any testing?

Thanks Simon!

Just picked up the Ford last night. Haven't driven it yet (probably won't ever as it is a Ford ). It seemed pretty level on pace with the AI driving it. Tho I did read that it's still on the older (gt3) tires and so should get a lil slower once it gets updated to the new Enduro pack tires. It also has the gear ratios unlocked which could be a bit of an advantage. As far as the model, textures and sound I think it's an excellent job done by URD. Hoping for the Ferrari to come next.

As far as league use what are your guys thoughts about including the URD cars? It would require people to buy more then just the S397 pack. I think most people that spent money on the official pack wouldn't mind spending more to complete it. But I know there's a fair amount of hostility towards URD so it could go either way.

URD messed up with the PX mod they said that. he also had some RL issues i think
yep they had a bashing on forums i don't like seeing that. Some people tend to get personal when they don't hear what they want. allot of keyboard warriors prob sat in mums house no life issues to worry there tiny heads about :)
They were the best modders out there for rf2 very nice to see s397 and them working together and one of them works there now so all there hard work starting to come good.
Allot including are self's have had good few years with there mods and allot of fun prob stopped us all becoming AC fanboys  ;D
kind of why i never complain same with s397 we will get ui etc........... but there not ones to push out new thing till they are happy with it even then a few can have issues.
You only have to look at GT3 and new Endurance mod everyone loves it.
it great times for RF2 and they should be proud of what they have delivered so far. lots of great content to come i think :)

Picked up the Ford today. Got a few laps in at Road America before I had to go back to work. I thought it felt pretty good but pushed a bit more than I expected. I put on 15 AI and built up some rubber though before I had to go.

I think I may have been getting some input lag as I was having some frame issues as well with that number of AI on track. I also was having a similar feel in the new Oreca on Lemans. I really need to upgrade my Video card and CPU... but I am at the end of the upgrade path for my CPU and will have to build an entire new machine to have any real tangible results. Oh well, maybe next year.

Im with you Simon, some of the hate URD receive is uncalled for. Their stuff has always been high quality and they've also stuck by rF2. They never, to me, came across as a money grab company it's just that ish happens, can't always plan for everything.

Chad, this isn't anything new as far as rF2, but in regards to CPU i just saw on Discord that Marcel was recommending a 4 core with as fast a single core speed as possible.

Yeah I saw that as well. I have an AMD FX8320 8 core CPU overclocked to 4. 0GHZ. I am interested in moving to an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or 2600. But then I need to get new DDR4 Ram as my DDR3 Ram wont work for that specific CPU and motherboard. But the Current machine is almost 4 years old at this point so I suppose I've gotten my money from it.
