« on: November 12, 2019, 12:20:16 pm »
Hello,

Did anyone else notice understeer with only 5 rear wing on McLaren 720S GT3?
Also, I'm waiting for some tips to setup this car if anyone wanna share 😁

Thanks,
Andrei 🙂

I would say 5 for rear wing is too high. I know Juan set his rear wing to 1 in Monza. I'm using 3 usually with AM.

Every car is different so it is hard to tell what is best for Mclaren, but I would try improving "turn in" characteristic and giving front a bit more grip than rear. There are good setup guides out there. Once you find a good setup you can use it almost everywhere with small changes.

Andrei, with the McLaren most tracks only require  RW 2 or 3.  At Monza I used RW 1 being a high speed track.  RW 5 is too high and it will definitely cause understeer.  Go down to 3, then 2 and see how it feels.
