You hate the car? And not just because of the windscreen?

I don't enjoy the car. I remembered I can do hood view. So that negates that rear view lookin window disaster. I used hood view so as not to be annoyed. I don't really find the car very fun to drive. Maybe because I absolutely do not like the track. There are also a lot of oddities on this track and it feels like the track also doesn't like me. Or it doesn't want me to like it take your pick. It has some odd behavior with this car going into turn one. I slowed, done shifting, done braking, coast through the turn and all of a sudden the back end just whips around for no reason. It happened too many times in the same spot and I don't think I was off the line. There was a road sign lying in the middle of the racing line that took me out. The barriers even if you graze it will end your day. The track itself bores me. The surroundings, the layout.

The car doesn't feel good to me. It looks cool as a single car series choice. I like stockcars. There is something lacking in feedback again that makes it difficult for me to know what the car is doing. It's not my settings that's been gone over 100 times and I know where I like them. I can feel the force but there are nuances missing that I rely on. It's not fun to do it all visually. If it were I can just get a rubber band cheapo wheel.

I understand people like this car and this track and that's fine with me. I don't like either so I'll just skip this one.

I only put down a fast time so you can't try calling me out in the future and I know you would. I had multiple laps in a row with times consistant to what you see on live racers after only doing less than 30 laps at this track and car I've never driven before.

Don't worry about me though I'll just take a week off and be back for the next one. No big deal. You can't please everyone, I get that.

Have a great race!

Sorry chad I appeared to have encouraged an outburst of really intensive and embarrassing crying of the foulest kind  ;D.
I'm surprised you find the FFB lacking to be honest, most people feel the reverse. I think this mod must have FFB as good as any 3rd party mod.
It is true however the car does become quite unstable the lower you put the wing, I suggest running 30 wing at this track or something like that.

Steve who is crying? What is the problem for you if I don't want to run the car and don't like it? I'm not aloud to have my own opinion? I don't like the mod. It doesn't feel good to me. You initially complained a ton about the URD mods I don't criticise you for your opinion.

Why don't you drive faster and catch up with me in your own precious car and then we can talk some more.

I actually did 125.5 but live racers was not working at the time  ;D Hot laps don't mean nothing anyway, race pace is what matters.

It's cool tho m'lud, you don't like the mod, I got the message  :(

I never complained about the URD too much, in fact I said it may well be best for VRC to take that mod if multi car mod is what you want even tho I do not like the mod myself. Apex is messed up too so take your pick.

Oh was yours a hotlap? Mine was actually proper race pace. I don't know how to push the car for qual and flying laps. I always lap at race pace, always. So I can keep throwing those down lap after lap after lap. I guess since you can too you could throw one up now that liveracers is back online.

Yeah I couldnt tell in your previous post what your position was on URD because it felt very back and forth. That's just how you talk, very back and forth. I can never understand.

Gonna give this a miss. Been having PC issues for a while. I'm replacing some drives and doing a clean install of everything this weekend in hope that the problems go away.

Sorry to hear that Rich. Reinstall can be quite a lot of work. I hope it fixes your issues. Hopefully you find that sort of thing fun!

Was a good fun, we crashed each other out with Steve, partially due to silly rF2 collision behaviour, still enjoyed my short lived evening.

I felt pretty happy about my pace. I used higher downforce in the race and it was paying off until I crashed. I was being cautious there but was one of those moments where I felt invincible. I was hungry for cake :p

MF, it was Steve and you who crashed. I was like "oooh shiiit". I guess you had a bad start by purpose? I like this car but the track was pretty bomb. Reminded me off Longford where there is constant danger. Would have like to have that fight for the win with Cakes, oh well.

See you next week!

In order to win you need to be willing to roll the dice.

despite me being way slower is good to race against someone that wont do anything wonky or take weird lines or do sudden changes of direction.
props for clean racing!

managed to get good pace later on but i crashed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had a decent start on both attempts. I had an early off and took some damage which took 170 seconds to fix. I then settled into a pace which was not near qual speed. I had a brief spin with about 10 minutes to go but took no damage, only flat spotted my tires. I was able to outlast 9 others for a 4th place finish. the best of any of my last dozen or so races. i'll take it.

For what its worth I was happy with the turnout and I think most people who took part in the race had a good time. This was a very challenging car and track combo. I would like to think that many of our members would not shy away from a challenge just because it is difficult.

See you next week at Sao Paulo.
